Overview to our Music stand lights
We would like to give you an overview for your selection at this point.
In addition to the two surface variants, we offer you two construction variants, the "straight" for horizontal installation and the "free-standing" for vertical installation equipped with "LED lighting technology". In addition, as an optical alternative, special fastening tubes such as "straight bent" and "free-standing bent", various fastening inserts and, for the rod-like LED lights, in addition to the standard blind tube length (640 mm long blind tube), a long one that fits the keyboard jaws (800 mm). (890 mm) and a double-length (1254 mm) version and, since 2019, also a shorter special length (550 mm), which fit the mounting dimensions of previous competitor rod lights with thin (approx. 7 mm) neon tubes.
All of our music stand lights have a rod-like design, so that a flat good illumination of the music stand and the near environment is achieved. The respective glare tube(s) are rotatable and can be adjusted accordingly for glare-free illumination. In terms of light color, all types of light are based on a warm hue similar to that of incandescent bulbs.
For adaptation to the respective gaming table situation, we offer 2 variants: The "straight" variant for horizontal mounting on so-called pushed play tables or play niches. The fixing tubes with 8 mm diameter are only inserted into a suitable hole in the wood and locked inside. Depending on the situation and the projection, our rosette or a hemispherical fastening insert can also be used. The projection is variable during installation. For the fixation inside either a transverse screw pressing on the tube can be used or the fixing insert with grub screw offered by us can be used. The "free-standing" version is intended for separately standing game tables to be fixed on the horizontal game table top. The supplied rosette(s) is invisibly attached to the inside of the lid by a large nut and then accepts the 8 mm thick curved mounting tubes. Height reduction is possible by shortening the vertical part of the fastening tubes. When doing so, make sure that the electrical cable remains intact and that any internal burr on the conductive mounting tube is removed to prevent subsequent damage to the electrical cable.
As surfaces the following variants are available: LED rod light available completely in polished brass and colorless lacquered or with galvanic surface nickel matt (similar to stainless steel and matching the leaflet pipes). Our standard length (640 mm) is also available in black matt as a special finish on request. The black lacquered version can also be optically combined with parts made of polished brass and colorless lacquered for the mounting parts. Please see the photo below for finish options. Single-foot lamp and the LED rod special length (545 mm) is only available in polished brass and colorless lacquered.
Variations of the fastening arms: LED table lamps in the standard scope of delivery with "straight" 400 mm long and 8 mm thick tubes or as "free-standing" with mounting tubes bent at a 90 degree angle with a projection of 300 mm and height incl. rosette max. 500 mm. As an optical alternative, mounting tubes are also available for the "straight variant" with slightly (45 degrees) angled tubes for max. projection of 230 mm, but only in polished brass and colorless lacquer. For the "free-standing" variant, curved mounting tubes with max. projection of 260 mm are available in polished brass and colorless lacquer and in matt nickel.
Single-leg lamp supplied as standard with straight slightly angled 8 mm mounting tube for max. projection of 230 mm. For consoles with piano covers that can be folded back, tubes bent at a 90° angle with a projection of 600 mm are available as an optional accessory.
Variants of the mounting options: For the free-standing vertical light with bend over the music stand our rosettes are suitable, which are always included in the delivery of the free-standing lights. For the horizontally straight mounted light, for projections up to approx. 25 cm, we recommend only mounting by means of direct drilling into the wood and securing inside by means of a grub screw pressing at right angles onto the tube. If this is not possible due to lack of space or because otherwise desired, you can use our spherical inserts or the rosettes for visible fastening. Price structure: Our lowest priced luminaire is the single foot luminaire. The rod lights with 2 fastening arms are more expensive due to the small series production and the partly complex surfaces.
